Course Syllabus
Brief outline of course details:
Week 1

Induction
Etiquette & hygiene, head prep & measuring, fitting and fixing wigs, blocking, washing wigs, basic setting without rollers, wet setting, gents & ladies natural sets.

Week 2
|
Basic Setting
Setting with/without rollers, combing out, gents and ladies elaborate sets, setting waves, dressing and fitting part wigs and pieces, finger waving.

Week 3
|
Period Dressing
Setting/combing out ladies & gents wigs, creating characters, and realising designs.
|
Week 4
|
Period Dressing
Ladies and gents 18th century powdered wigs, gents tie-back wigs, students choice, wigs exhibited and discussed, summary.

|
Certificate presentation
|
All tools, equipment and materials are supplied on this course.
An additional beginners course of 1 month duration is available on request.
Any professional needing to concentrate on a specific area can attend a one week course that is tailor made to his/her requirements.
